Yvette Cooper, the British Foreign Secretary, did not mince words, stating, "Russia saw Navalny as a threat. By using this form of poison the Russian state demonstrated the despicable tools it has at its disposal and the overwhelming fear it has of political opposition." Navalny's final days and a history of alleged attacks
Alexei Navalny, a prominent figure who bravely campaigned against official corruption and organized large-scale anti-Kremlin protests, passed away in February 2024 at an Arctic penal colony.
